The founding members first met in 2007 on a creative writing course, starting the group in 2009. The Inklings are a friendly writers' group who welcome new writers.They are open to all writing, poetry, short stories, etc.It’s worth keeping up with their events and you can sign up to their mailing list.

There is a monthly poetry event called ‘Talking Poetry’ where you can listen to poetry on vinyl, CD or cassette and discuss your favourites.

The Windows Project in Liverpool is a charitable trust which was established in Liverpool in 1976 and delivers creative writing workshops in the community to all ages and abilities.

The Redbrick Writers (for young people aged 18 - 29), the Knotty Ash Writers and a hub at our community bookshop L14 2DB.

It also includes dedicated new Tutor support for our Community Writing group at the Victoria Gallery & Museum - which meets on second Saturdays at 11 am.

It is housed in a beautiful Grade II listed building in the Georgian quarter and offers short creative writing courses for women North End Writers is a registered charity which is run by Liverpool poet, Pauline Rowe.

It promotes creative writing and its many benefits particularly amongst people resident in North Liverpool.

It’s well worth visiting as a source of inspiration and definitely one of my favourite arts venues.

I’ve often enjoyed workshops and literature events here.

They publish the long-running and respected small-press poetry magazine, .

The Windows Project offers a Writers Attachment Scheme which provides professional development and training for new and aspiring writers.
